fifty one...

i woke up pretty early today..well, i usually do when i don't sleep on my own bed..i took a quick shower and headed outside for my breakfast..i ended up at Chowking... Jollibee was too crowded and i was too hungry to line up.

so here's my Cebu Breakfast..

orange chicken lauriat and tofu all for ME, MYSELF and I.

while i was eating, i checked on the Lay Bare site again so i could call them and make a schedule. I called and the lady asked what time will i go there.. i said 10am..

my FIRST BRAZILIAN WAX experience! woot woot!

i took a cab and almost got lost walking around the building. didn't know they were upstairs... lol

the receptionist was pretty friendly.. she escorted me to a cubicle and then gave me a towel and a cover up and told me where i could wash up before the big event.. lol.. i love what they did with the washup room.. they had stones at the floor, it was pretty small but it was clean and elegant...

she did it on me.. it was kinda painful but it was tolerable..the pain was just at the beginning, then you'll get used to it eventually.. and what happened after? well, i'm satisfied! i loved it.. it was so liberating! ;-)

they even gave me a loyalty card... too sad they don't have any branch in Davao.. it's good to be bare sometimes, if not most of the time... lol

Fifty half

call it bad luck.. lol

FIRST: Sampaguita Suites was fully-booked so we had to walk under the heat of the sun from one hotel to another. I ended up with C'est la vie Pension cos it was the cheapest.

SECOND: Crown Regency's DROP ZONE does not exist. I so wanted to jump and fall. I was so damn excited to do the free fall thing which they described in their site as "feeling the gravity against you as you fall freely down a 40-foot drop strapped only with a weighted harness without a cable." when the receptionist said it is still yet to come.. ouch!

THIRD: April and I went to SM to check on Lay Bare, a waxing salon. The directory said the salon is nowhere to be found. can i say ouch again? lol

It was a great bonding time with April though. She treated me at Not Just Coffee. We both had shakes. All i can say is that, mine didn't taste that good. lol.

My tourist guide had to go to work so it was time to part ways. I took a cab to Fuente Osmena while she took another one.

C'est la vie is creepy, i should say. The place was like a meet-up place for old foreigners and hookers. There were girls who look like hookers at the lobby so you can't blame me for thinking so..

FOURTH: my comfort room's light bulb didn't work. so i had to go downstairs again to inform the receptionist who then asked the guard to change it. booo!

no cable tv.. old aircon.. no phones.. plus i don't like the bathroom.. arghhhh!

so what kept me company then? oh well, my book, my laptop, my globe tattoo and my celphones..

it was around 9:30pm that i decided to go out and eat. i walked around the vicinity and ended up eating at Sunburst. i had a joiner around who stays on the same pension house and i could not shoo him away after i repeatedly refused his willingness to join me.. good thing his roommate and his officemate picked him up. aaaahhh what a great relief! i don't want any joiners when i'm doing my soulsearching thing..lol

FIFTH: 22nd Street was on standing. so sad! i had a backup plan though.. to have a foot massage but damn when i asked the lady at the reception area, they were already closed.. arrrgggghhh

i decided to have some drinks as plan C.. walked around the city for a cozy place to get some shots alone but i found none..all they have were bars full of people so i had no choice but to go back to my room and sleep.

what a day indeed!

Fifty

today marks the 50th..so fifty it is!

i'm off the city.. miles away!

and yes it's definitely ME time for the weekend...

(patty and mac cancelled their trips but i decided to go on with mine)

my first ever ALONE trip..

big breakfast at the airport is a good start...

the plane actually arrived 15 minutes before the ETA.

so i called pring and kai so we could meet up...

oh i actually get miffed when they can't spell my name right..

i think i'll have to go with BLACK ANGEL next time, that would be easier i guess..lol

kai and erich (who actually came straight from work) arrived a few minutes after but the three of us waited for ms. d who came in at around 11am... hungry! hungry! hungry! kai said we check Kublai Khan's mongolian eat-all-you-can! hmmmm... definitely the way to eat lunch.. a beastly welcome for a travelling doormat..lol

Cebu Trip: DAY 4 (Cebu- Davao)

it's finally over.. the unplanned Cebu Trip has come to an end..but i surely had a super great time..guess it's emo moment once again.. if only i could afford to miss my exams on Sunday, i will definitely ask for an extension... huhuhu.. see you next year Cebu! lol

Cebu Trip: DAY 3 (Santander - IT Park Cebu)

Almost the whole day of DAY 3 is travel time... sooo tiring....

While waiting for the bus bound for Cebu City, we got a chance to check PG Divers... it's actually under renovation but with the use of our charms we did some photoshoots inside the resort..lol

CEBU TRIP: DAY 2 (sidetrip to DUMAGUETE)

DAY 2-3: CEBU-SANTANDER-DUMAGUETE (December 3-4, 2009)

such a looooooong trip... we left den's place late.. took a bus to SANTANDER port...

and finally reached dumaguete at around 2pm...i called my dear friend Janette for some suggestions on where to go within the city.. and she said we could meet up later that day..

so sad we only stayed there for one night but it was fun though... thanks to Aking and Janette for accompanying us during our stay in Dumaguete.. i love the place.. it looks safe and alive... i sooo want to go back there.. see you both soon! ;-)

CEBU Trip: Day 1 Updated (den's place)

morning sunshine!

just woke up... DECEMBER 3, 2009 and it's past 6am.. den's still sleeping.. i dunno but i am always like this.. i don't get to sleep too much when i'm not at my bed.. i think it's the i-miss-my-bed syndrome... lol... anyways, here's what i promised before i went to bed...

UPDATES. UPDATES. UPDATES.

• when i went out of the airport i asked the guard where i could get a metered taxi.. he then pointed to the direction where two yellow taxis were parked.. oh yeah! true it was metered but since it's an airport taxi it was waaaaaay too expensive.. flat rate was P70.. and and patak P4.. so when i reached SM Cebu i had to pay P200 for the entire trip which is i think is not that far... tsk..tsk..
• had lunch with DEN and REZ at Tokyo Joe's.. finally met my friend's man.. and i should say, they look good together.. i strongly believe this is it Den.. lol
• accompanied Den at the department store for a little shopping.. oh! i stand corrected.. it's a xmas gift shopping for herself, her sis and her mom.. u can just imagine what she bought.. and since we spent like hours there, i found myself shopping for some stuffs i don't actually need.. oh boy! call it splurging again! a bag and a shoe... damn!
• went to the salon for a mani,pedi and a foot scrub.. i luv it.. i had to pay P199 for the services but i think Ms. no-talk's job was commendable.. i even gave her a tip which as you all know, i don't usually do..lol..

• after the beauty treat, we went to CROWN REGENCY to finally experience my main reason for coming to CEBU ---- EDGE COASTER! wooohooo... and the best part was i got it for FREE! thanks to my kuya manny who just went to CROWN just to pay for my ride and dinner.. yes! i got everything for FREE! wooohooo.. no cash-out of P600.. weeeeeee! THANKS KUYA MANNY! i owe u one! luv yah! mwaaaah! the experience was fantastic! so picture perfect but unfortunately, cameras are not allowed.. they have their official photographer and they charge you P230 for a single pic.. tooo expensive but it doesn't matter..that's exactly what i came here for..

• dinner at 37th floor was amazing! nice view and gooood food! food! food! food! i sooo love staying there.. asss in!

• after dinner we had a quick pahabol photoshoot to feel the spirit of christmas..lol

CEBU TRIP: Day 1 cont. (den's place)

uhmmmm... 2am and i'm still awake.. i so want to make kwento na about what happened the whole day.. but i'm really really sleepy na so i think i'll give updates tomorrow or i should say later this day when i get a chance... i'm so excited pa naman sana... so goodnight people.. see yah later...mwah! zzzzzzzzzzzzz

CEBU Trip: Day 1 (AIRPORT)

DAY 1

30 mins ahead of time.. wow! Cebu Pacific is kinda too early.. i'm now at the MACTAN airport waiting for 10am to be exact.. i so have to wait for like an hour so i could finally meet up with den a.k.a foster friend while i'm here in cebu.. i don't have an exact plan actually.. i'll go wherever my feet takes me.. besides, this trip is actually way out of plan in the first place.. lol

met some pips on Davao Airport.. met one of my co-workers from the HO.. he was waiting for his ZAMBO flight.. we had a short talk.. just the where, whys and who's with thingies...

met DELSIE and ANTHRONE there too.. we talked about having a reunion this december... samok man gud ni si argie wala na nakigcoordinate.. hopefully when i get back to davao i'll have the chance to talk to some pips regarding this.. delsie's going on a work trip in zambo and gene's going to dumaguete.. gene and i took the same flight.. he was seated on 15 and i'm on 18 but he transfered next to my seat so we did lots of updating... hopefully we can meet him if we're lucky enough to have a side trip to dumaguete ;-)

i'm beginning to love my HP mini and my GLOBE Tattoo ;-)
