i want to start this year with a song from Care Bears. i want a happy song this time.

i could have used the song 6,8,12 but i'd rather have good vibes for the rest of the year.

yes, it has been 6 months, 8 days, 12 hours since that somewhat informal farewell.

and yes it has been exactly a year since our last day together welcoming the year at the MOA countdown.

call it double jeopardy: two unlucky events falling on the first day of the year. LOL
this is the longest so far. but this no communication thing is the best and most decent thing to do.

2012 has definitely not been a good year for me. and you can tell why.

Countdown to 2012

i didn't know he had plans on going to davao. who would have thought he'd pack his suitcase and bring his ass here on my city when i already booked myself a flight to manila the next day to spend new year's eve with him. it was the 29th , our monthsary. such a sweet surprise. i even asked my boss to hurry up with his short meeting with us cos my lovelife was at stake.lol. everything started well, but the day ended otherwise. Surprise and Spoiled should really not go together on monthsaries. sigh!

days before, he asked me to take the the midday flight. i kept on bargaining and started to have my drama moments. while doing my online booking, i said to myself it's a good thing midday flights with PAL were sold out (there are more seats left but for a higher price though) cos i really wanted to go there as soon as possible. i had to choose between first and last flight then. i decided to take the first flight. later did i know he'll be flying with me back to manila. oh crap! we left Marco Polo at six in the morning without breakfast. oh my bad! oh well, how would i know that he was up for a little surprise? next time, i promise i would listen.

spending the last days of 2011 and the first day of 2012 with someone you only get to spend countable days with spells happiness. he asked me to come for christmas even for a day but i refused. i had so much to do for the family reunion and work's on the day after. but i made sure i can spend my new year's eve with him.

we decided to join the kapuso countdown at MOA. he got three seats reserved for us at Seattle's Best Coffee. but before the year 2011 ended, we had our moment together over a japanese dinner... sushi, sashimi,bento!!! yummy indeed!

really had a blast! it was like "oh-i-finally-got-a-chance-to-spend-new-year's-eve-with-love" feeling. everyday felt like valentine's day. just absolutely lovely! happy new year everyone.. cheers to a new year full of love and happiness!!!

SOME REVISIONS on my wishlist:

• i said in my 2008 list that i want them BEFORE i reach 30.. but i changed my mind.. getting married, having a honeymoon and a baby needs some rearrangements..not in the near future i guess..lol...i still have to enjoy my single life cos when i finally get married, i want to stick with the married life.. no more going back to stuffs i missed during my being single... guess that would take some time.. besides, i still have to complete my 27 dresses..lol hope i get a lot wedding invites..lol
• i'll change honeymoon in GREECE to honeymoon in GREECE or BALIor MALDIVES..lol

TARGET for 2010

• have my own NIKON DSLR. CHECK!
• watch a PBA game LIVE... i sooo want it na! CHECK!
• more travels around the Philippines and hopefully outside the country (should get my passport stamped before it expires again..lol) CHECK!
• go diving again but this time with pictures underwater
• more photoshoots (can i do some magazine shots?lol) CHECK!

this is so effin kewl! checked 8 out of 12 ! wooot woot! and i got to see GINEBRA play live and had the chance to spend a day on the happiest place on earth...yay! double fun!
