movie review- The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

i got a chance to watch this movie today. and i'm giving it a perfect 10!! i simply just love it!!!

BELIEVE IT OR NOT after more or less 10 years i finally saw the movie.. yeah! yeah! yeah! i know, it has been shown in cable tv like a million times but u can't blame me WE DONT HAVE CABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS! lol.... what i did was i bought my own copy... a 1998 movie of Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks... yey! i finally got the mail!

Anyways, i love the movie.. i super duper love it...it's sweet and romantic.. i so can relate cos as all of you know, my own so-called love story started online.. not the dear SHOPGIRL/NY152 thingy though cos Gary and I are not really fond of writing stuffs..we don't even give gifts on special occasions.. aawww so thoughtful of us right????.lol... but we talk a lot, he calls like almost everyday.. or if he can't then we both go online and go c2c and do voicechats... well, that's US!!

i cried... i did cry while watching the movie... like a bucket of tears.. what can i do i closet drama queen.. hihihihi..

i could still remember how we first met in person... so exciting.. he got bodyguards and i brought mine as well...playing safe..lol... we met at the lobby of Marco Polo Hotel on April 29, 2005.. we went there as in super late cos we had an emergency meeting at work...call it bad timing or just pure bad luck.. (FYI :from SF-MNL-DVO.. they came here just to meet me and didn't even waste a single day to do so..diretso dri..ganyan kahaba ang hair ko...lol) ..he waited patiently at the lobby while i was still at the office.. i had four bodyguards with me (ghedi,ate ces,ate lis and pipay) while he had two (jimmy and his gf) in case things don't work well i guess..lol...when we finally reached the place i was eyeing on somebody who was wearing eye glasses but guess what??!! false alarm! when i was like 5 steps away from the man, i realized he wasn't the one..hehehe... so i slowly exited to avoid future embarrassment..while i was about to walk away from the lobby, i heard ate cecille's voice that said "basi kana xa.." OMG! mixed emotions kaayo.. i was hesitant to see if it was him.. for a like 10 seconds i stood still.. then i turned my around and saw a man walking towards me..i think he was in black jacket if i remembered it right.. "Hi" and that's how it all started... it was a long and romantic night... i'll be writing another novel if i'd go into the details...lol...

OMG! i have three (3) MORE bruises on my back.. two (2) on the right and one (1) on the left.. didn't notice it earlier.. i just felt an ache on my back so i checked it on the mirror... huhuhuhu...

while i was on my way to work yesterday morning, we were caught in an accident.. our vehicle got crashed by another... and i got this...

plus i got some backaches and a clicking sound on my right leg bone when i walk.. still subject to observation though... and my dad got some bruises and had an injury on his right pinky too...

i'm thankful that this happened though coz it made me realize a lot of things...

I got the bouquet on my tita's wedding. Does this mean i'm next? Assuming huh?! Well, i just like the thought of it honestly. It's not that i really want to get married next year, it's just that i like the thought of me being the bride, wearing a wedding gown and walking down the aisle. I surely don't want to be tagged "always a bride's maid, never the bride". I'm now imagining the George Clooney - Angelina Jolie wedding of the year. No contradictions please. lol. Besides, after a very stressful month, i decided to entertain only happy thoughts. Past is past. Leave everything distressing behind if possible and welcome the new month with a fresh start.

Life's a bit shitty today! Totally my fault! I expected too much, and as expected he can't give that much! I'm being bratty again but what can i do?! i'm really pissed! i'm just wishing this feeling would be gone by the time i wake up tomorrow. Please be gone! Please!

FINALLY!

I woke up today having in mind what i wanted to do with my life. I want to EXHALE! I've been inhaling and inhaling both clean and polluted air. Need to release all of them this time. I want to go out of here and rejuvenate. I want to be in the ocean rather than the aquarium. I want to do more than swimming back and forth in this small watery room with everybody else just watching. I need a break from all of these coz i'm really really tired and exhausted!

I finally got my off from work. Slept really late and glued myself online. I think i'll be on for the whole day. lol. There's noone to talk to at the moment so i think it would do me good to go blogging. I'm bored and that's something i'm sure of. lol. good news or bad news

Somebody's girl is pregnant!!! I'm not sure if it's true or not... But the news kept the room shaking.. Silence is worst than a fist fight don't u think???? It definitely came as a surprise. They aren't talking but i know they are really disappointed.

THE SECRET

I first heard about this book from my dear karlbebe. I said i will try to find a copy. Then saw it on the movie Sex in the City. Now, i'm more determined to know the SECRET. So I decided to buy my own copy of the book. When i got home, i opened it and scanned over the pages but decided to read it some other time. It was for the sole purpose of finishing it with one sitting. The next day was a holiday so with the favorable condition i had the chance to finally do it. Then it was revealed. The SECRET to life is THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.

"Everything that's coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And is attracted to you by virtue of the images you're holding in your mind. It's what you're thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you."

That's basically it! It's a "Your wish is my command!" thingy. No words of negation should be used because the law of attraction doesn't compute "don't" or "not" or "no". It says that the only reason why people do not have what they want is because they are thinking more about what they don't want than what the do want. If you keep on saying negative things, then you are just affirming it to yourself and feel it in every aspect of your being. And that's what you are going to get more of. There are three steps to do it. ASK. BELIEVE. RECIEVE. Ask for what you want. Believe by acting, speaking, and thinking as though you have already received what you've asked for. Feel the feelings of getting your desire and you will summon it to you. I think it's time to try it now. I know i can do it. Now that's the spirit! lol.

BEST Birthday Gift

I was dying to write about my 2-day trip to Manila when i came home last tuesday. But to my dismay, my sister went to CDO for a business trip and there went my only medium..(that's the bad thing about not having my own laptop. i can only use her laptop when she's not using it. oh! poor me!) Anyways, i left Davao last Monday August 18,Cebu Pacific first flight. If you only knew what i went through just trying to get the ticket (well, icholle knows for sure..lol..somewhat like the "FOR U I WILL"song thingy..dba te?hehehe...) Benedict together with Mang Bert picked me up at NAIA terminal 3 at around 9am. We had breakfast at Aristocrat restaurant. Food was great, had spareribs. We then went to his humble abode.....

Home... watched Transformers.. MOA..ate at Mann Hann..watched Dark Knight on IMAX.. bought dvds..Home..finished the Transformers and then watched the DVDs he bought (this time they were all about NBA players.. It brought back High School memories Rhodey=MJordan, Ceangy=SPippen with the fad of trading NBA cards.. NBA fever i guess..)

Woke up late the next day. Had to get ready for my 1:45 pm PAL flight. Oh how i wanted to stop the time! If only i could... We went down his unit and went straight to the pool.. No nicey pictures.. all paparazzi shots.. blame it to the phone call.. i just can't help it...sorry po! (Alam mo naman paminsan-minsan lumalabas pagkaartistahin natin..) A few minutes later Mang Bert picked us up for a quick tour to MOA. This time it's for the Krispy Kremes and Bread Talk foodies. Less than a couple of hours left and it's bye bye time so we hurriedly went back to his pad to get those things i left.. Farewell moment...picture-taking and everything! I just hate goodbyes especially when i'm the one to leave and i don't want to leave.. But i don't have any choice.. what can i do???? The clock's ticking fast.. They accompanied me to the airport. And then there was it---- the FINAL GOODBYE sealed with a farewell kiss!! So sad yet so blissful! It was the best birthday gift i got. Didn't last that long but still it was a look of blissful contentment.. Miss him now.. When can i see him again????? will somebody please tell me?????

Today is the Day

Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday to me!!!!! finally! Today is the day. I attended an early mass to start everything right today. The homily was about forgiveness. Maybe it's time to throw away the pride and start a new divine life. Charmos!

Baby No More

Believe it or not I have changed. And the good thing is, i've changed for the better. I've grown like five steps higher towards being a mature person. I don't nag that much now. I don't react that much. I'm not that sensitive anymore. I think like a hundred times before i do things now. When i want something i work hard for it. When i say something i do it. Even if it's hard, i always try to find ways to do it. That's me now. The new me!

How was my day? hmmmm... Good. It's supposed to be good. Had free pizza before i went out of the office.. no shortage (happiness of a teller..lol).. Started my day right i guess... Benedict called.. he said that he met up with my arkitek friend earlier.. he got the queen cat painting which i asked him (but where's the king mr. arkitek? lol) .. we talked about how to meet up.. initial plan was, i'll fly to Manila on Friday and go back the day after. I would like to stay longer if you were to ask me. But i guess he's too busy to squeeze me up into his schedule. He said instead of me going there, it would be him going here, for a day. Too short time. But no violent reactions from me. It would be better than not meeting at all right? Besides, he's not here for a vacation. That's a fact. So i totally understand. I told him there's no need to worry. I'm not mad, i'm just a bit disappointed. I finally got my leave supposedly the day after my birthday after not having the permission to do so. I'm going to take the leave whether they like it or not. lol. But had to cancel it today coz of the slight change of plans. I told him i did my part, now it's his call. I just hope i'd see him before he leaves next week. I'm not expecting, but i'm wishing and hoping. No expectations, no disappointments! I'll just go with the flow, besides, everything happens for a reason..

Yes, i'm a baby no more but the good thing is, there's a new baby!! i got a message from jen. GOOD NEWS! she's pregnant! Yahoooo! i'm now imagining a cute little baby. 8 more months and we'll eventually see him/her.. congrats jen! see u soon!
